A KITAP (Kartu Izin Tinggal Tetap) is an Indonesian Permanent Stay Permit allowing foreign nationals to reside in Indonesia long-term. Typically granted after holding a KITAS (Temporary Stay Permit) for mulitple years(depending on category), the KITAP is valid for five years and can be renewed indefinitely. Investor Kitap
Suitable for foreign investors who have owned shares in an Indonesian company for at least 3 years. It is valid for five years and is extendable for a lifetime.

Working Kitap
Suitable for foreigners who are employed by and have held a Working KITAS for an Indonesian company for at least three years. It is valid for five years and is extendable for a lifetime.

Family Kitap
Suitable for foreigners married to Indonesian citizens or children of mixed-nationality marriages. It is also available for dependents (spouses and children) of an existing Kitap Holder. It is valid for five years and is extendable for a lifetime.

Retirement Kitap
Suitable for foreigners who have held a Retirement KITAS for at least four years. It is valid for five years and is extendable for a lifetime.
